She is a clinical operations strategist and her expertise is in optimizing care delivery models that meet the needs of healthcare staff and providers in the best position to provide safe and effective care. Her operations research and hospital administration background positions her to provide organizations to achieve strategic and operational goals whilst optimizing data-driven decision making.

She was the Program Director for Patient Throughput & Hospital Operations with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, which is the no. 1 hospital in Illinois, USA.  She was responsible in Creating the strategic & tactical playbook to improve hospital-wide throughput via systems engineering. She reduced the use of ED diversion by 92% via upfront capacity management & command center model. Also, she improved access to hospital care by securing permanent funding & managing ED Ops unit and Spearheaded multi-stakeholder initiative to demonstrate use & secure funds for 100 bed IP expansion. She developed, implemented, and managed the strategic, operational, and financial goals for a 90K visit ED and managed to reduced ED length of stay by 10% through redesigned of physical space and operations (split flow)

She was also the Site Co Lead for Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative where she Improved emergency department care and care coordination for older adult by implementing innovations in workforce, informatics, and structural enhancements. She also achieved Level 1 (highest tier) Geriatric Emergency Department accreditation for NMH.

She has worked with major hospital groups and systems including Northwestern Medicine and WellStar Health System where she launched a suite of proactive planning decision support tools for staffing and resource allocation. She also helped improve the quality of care for patients, the work environment for staff, and reduce operating costs including a 40% reduction in LWBS rate and 50% reduction in diversion ($1.2M revenue creation), as well as +2 RNs per shift – ability to justify additional permanent resources, leading to significant safety gains.
