He is a professional trainer in smart grids and smart meter technology with over 40 years of experience in various capacities including senior roles in BHEL. He has had a distinguished career in meter related projects from concept to commissioning heading meter Engineering, testing, quality assurance & project management. Worked as, member of the Board of studies and visiting professor in EEE department at Kalasalingam University, India. Presented over 60 technical papers at several national and international conferences. He was Invited by USAID to work as a consultant to scout digital metering technology for India. He presented technical paper on TOU metering in India at MATES (Metering Apparatus &systems), Glasgow. He also Presented technical papers on” latest metering technology “at Malaysia, Mauritius, Indonesia, Bangladesh. South Africa & China. He has wide experience in product design testing engineering& Quality of meter related products on the latest technology trends. He was a member of BIS, CBIP,REC and was extensively trained at SIEMENS Germany on the latest metering technology.

He was an invited international keynote speaker at Metering China Hangzhou in 2012 and delivered a lecture “on smart metering technology”. His technical papers were presented @ Metering India 2013,2015 and 2017 on Smart meter technology and he has tremendous experience in training professionals on SM/SG TECHNOLOGY. He was invited to deliver lectures at PSTI, ESCI, CEES NPTI, GETRI, IISc, CPRI , software companies like Ericsson, pro arc , IBM, HONEYWELL, etc. He was invited to Conduct smart grid and smart metering workshops globally including countries such as India, South Africa, Lesotho Saudi Arabia. He was also invited to Participate as an expert in evaluating smart meter projects from Govt of India from DST&DSIR.
