He is a subject matter expert in areas including Open Banking & PSD2, CBDC, Digital Finance, Fintech, Digitla Identity, Mobile Banking, Omnichannel, Transaction Strategy & Banking Innovation amongst other topic areas. He is the Executive Adviser to the Board at equensWorldline SE, Europe ’s leader in financial processing and transactional services, which processes over 17 trillion Euro per year and was awarded the Best Open Banking Provider in 2019. He is an internationally recognized leader on strategy of business innovations in digital and financial services. He is board-level adviser to major European banks, industry associations and international finance bodies including the Advisor for the European Payments Council and he heads multiple innovation initiatives including mobile, e-payments, eID, P2P and instant payments within the decision making body on payments for 8000 banks across 31 European countries and has created new SEPA and post-SEPA standards in payment innovations for implementation by all banks. He regularly helps shape future directions in European decision-making bodies e.g. European Commission, EPC, ERPB, and further national and international boards.
